Day 7

   Welcome to Tuesday!

Day 7

Happy Tuesday everybody!! Fun fact, Tuesday is my favorite day of the week.

And if your day didn't start off so good, hopefully this will help make it better :)

Today's theme is Halloween Day!

Here's a fun fact about Halloween to start us off. "According to the History Channel, the name jack-o'-lantern is rooted in an Irish folktale about a man named Stingy Jack who fooled the devil and in turn was forced to walk the Earth with only a burning coal in a hollowed turnip to light his way. The Irish began to call him “Jack of the Lantern,” and then just “Jack o’Lantern.”" (Halloween facts).

Now, computer science and Halloween might seem rather far apart with no connections, but you would be wrong. Have you ever seen a Halloween decoration move? Maybe one jumped out of a bush and scared you last Halloween. These decorations are animatronics. These can be coded and built using computer science. See? CS is everywhere.

Have a great Tuesday everybody!
